A beautiful farmhouse holiday let at the gateway to the Highlands.

Stop the clock and unwind in beautiful, peaceful surroundings - or explore Highland Perthshire with its lochs, rivers and glens, Trowan is perfectly placed for you to create the holiday you want !

The farmhouse faces South with views to Torlum Hill, whilst  Tom Na Chastle, ancient seat of the Earls of Strathearn, rises at the back of the house. Crieff, "the gateway to the highlands", is 4 miles away and offers a golf course & many dining & shopping options.

Tell me about the house?

Trowan offers 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms, a twin and two bathrooms whilst downstairs there is a 3rd double room and a toilet.

The sitting room has comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove (plenty of cut firewood available!) and central heating throughout. At the other end of the house you will find the well equipped kitchen and dining room. There is Wifi and TV, and for those balmy summer evenings a barbecue and garden furniture.

"We have stayed in many holiday houses but Trowan is undoubtedly the best!

Peaceful and beautiful location, lovely walks in the local area and within an hour's drive of lochs, mountains and historic towns.

The spacious house manages to combine elegance and homeliness and is well heated! John is a generous host & supplied copious quantities of essentials such as toilet paper and dishwasher tablets - things many others stint on!

A wonderful stay - we'll be back! "    Polly and family
